Obtain an Application

Applications are accepted for all positions.  Resumes are not accepted in lieu of an application; however, resumes may be included with the employment application.

Applications may be picked up at the Acadia Parish Police Jury Administrative Office located at 505 Northeast Court Circle, Crowley, Louisiana. Our office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. or click on the following link to print a copy of our application.

Submitting Your Application
Applications must be completed in accordance with directions.  Misrepresentation and incomplete or inaccurate information may cause application rejection, removal from the employment pool, or discharge from Parish employment.
Status of Your Application 
Applications submitted to the Acadia Parish Police Jury remain active and on file for two years and are available for updating by the applicant during this period.  If after that time period you have not received notification of your application status, you may call our office at (337) 788-8800, to re-activate your application for another six months.
Hiring Process

All applications are available for review by other departments when openings become available. 

All job offers to applicants will be conditioned upon successful completion of various pre-employment tests and/or physical examination.
